I've downloaded them but all the parts have the same "backup.bkf" file in it. Am I supposed to join them up or something? Sorry, I'm not sure what to do with them next...

Can I ask you what chipset is it? Is it s Sigmatel or Sunplus chip? Sorry, I don't quite understand the format "chip:SH86281AP/064" that's all.

Also, did you extract this yourself and if you did, what tool did you use?

chip is sh862xx. you can use AMT tool to restore firmware back. *******.bkf is backup firmware. But i am not sure it would restore your player. Best way is using *****.xxx firmware with factory update tool.
